Avalanche Studios has officially announced open-world action sequel Just Cause 3 for Windows PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.
Game Informer has the scoop, confirming the game will arrive sometime in 2015.
The title is set in the Mediterranean, and according to the reveal includes vast improvements for the franchise’s staple parachute and grapple mechanics.
A wingsuit is being introduced as well – which combined with the aforementioned upgraded mechanics should make for a fine balance between outright stupid and fun,” as Avalanche describes.
Just Cause 3 is being developed between Avalanche’s Sweden and New York branches, along with Square Enix London.
