King appoints new chief people officer

King has appointed Burberry’s chief people officer as its new CPO.

Mark Taylor will be responsible for leading all human resource activities, including performance management, recruitment, retention, training and development.

He replaces King’s previous CPO, Ciara Smyth, who has left the job after two years to return to Ireland.

"Mark is a great addition to the King team,” said King CEO Riccardo Zacconi.

“One of King’s greatest strengths is its talent – we’re committed to attracting and retaining the best people in the industry and helping them to build successful careers. Mark has exceptional experience in helping companies grow and develop great workforces, and we’re excited to welcome him to the team.”
