Ubisoft was crowned PR Team at last night’s MCV Awards 2012.
The award was voted for by 100 UK games journos, and symbolises the fantastic work the publisher has achieved in the channel over the last 12 months.
There were also six other winners in the PR & Marketing category.
Turtle Beach was named as the best Peripherals and Accessories brand, while Deep Silver won the Best Use of Social Media award for its work with zombie hit Dead Island.
Activision’s Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure was named as the best New Game Brand, while EA’s Battlefield 3 was awarded the best Game Campaign gong.
Bethesda won best Trade Marketing Team with Activision winning the overall Marketing Team award.
The MCV Industry Excellence Awards celebrate the commercial and creative successes made by the UK computer and video games industry across fields including retail, PR & marketing and publishing.
This year’s MCV Awards ceremony took place on at the Lancaster London Hotel and marked the 10th Anniversary of the event.
