MCV is pleased to announce its sponsors for the MCV Awards 2017.

DingIt.TV will be the Headline Sponsor for this year’s awards, while Aardvark Swift, Gamescom, OPM Recruitment and Playwire Media will be backing the event as Event Sponsors.

Twitch has been named as the exclusive Livestream Partner for the 2017 Awards, while Fandom will be the official Photobooth Sponsor. Meanwhile, Ukie is the MCV Awards 2017 Association Partner, and GamesAid is the MCV Awards 2017 Charity Partner.

"DingIt.TV’s very happy to sponsor this year’s MCV Awards because first and foremost it’s a brilliant event, full of great people we’ve got to know within the gaming industry and people we’d love to meet," said DingIt.TV’s brand and community manager Claire Sharkey.

"It’s also a wonderful chance for others to find out more about Dingit.tv, part of Level Up Media, our other brands, what we’re all about and to meet the team behind the scenes. What better way for us all to get acquainted than at an event that recognizes the amazing work done by people passionate about gaming?"

OPM Recruitment’s PR and marketing manager Nathan Adcock commented: "We are absolutely delighted to sponsor the MCV awards this year. We see the this as a tremendous opportunity to get involved with an event that rewards the brilliant people working behind the scenes. We’re looking forward to the big night and can’t wait to see everyone!"

Dr Jo Twist OBE CEO of Ukie added: “The MCV Awards are a true celebration of the excellence in our industry and a fantastic way to honour hardworking teams across the sector, especially the people behind the scenes who make this industry what it is – a world leading destination for making games. We wish everyone luck on the night and look forward to celebrating with you all.”

Fandom’s director of sales Kelvin Cery said: "We’ve evolved a lot over the past year, particularly in our support of the games business in the UK. We rebranded as the global entertainment media brand, Fandom powered by Wikia, whilst launching a dedicated UK version of the website. With UK Fandom, we put gaming at the heart of our business, providing a complete gaming fan destination with 120,000+ established gaming communities and topical news and stories around all things gaming and pop culture."

Jason Fletcher, EMEA director of marketing at Twitch, added: "MCV is not only the voice of the UK games industry, it’s a brand whose events bring us all together to honor the best in our business. Our sponsorship is intended to express both our respect for MCV and the importance of highlighting achievements of our industry as it continues to grow."
