TIGA has joined forces with Microsoft to host a new event for independent developers in July.
Entitled ‘Growing your games business’, the conference will offer a mix of keynote speakers, panel Q&A sessions and 45-minute workshops, exploring how start-ups can survive in today’s games market.
The event takes place in Soho’s Dolby Theatre on July 6th, starting from 2pm and running until 7.30pm.
Topics covered include studio leadership, access to finance, marketing and discoverability, sustainable growth and maximising your team’s creativity.
A number of speakers have already been confirmed, including Bossa Studios’ Richard Earl, Kumotion’s Steve Stopps, Wales Interactive’s Dai Banner, Jiggery Pokery’s Matthew Wiggins, and David Smith from Interactive Selection and Women In Games Jobs.
Growing your games business is free to attend for TIGA members, and £49 for non-members. You can register here.
Microsoft will also use the occasion to reveal the winners of its Cloud Gaming Innovation Challenge, where 20 indie studios will win £40,000 in Azure Crefits, while the big winner will receive a supercar weekend.
