The PlayStation 4 version of Minecraft has possibly been delayed following a failed certification from Sony.
4J Studios, the developers porting the construction title to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PlayStation Vita, took to Twitter yesterday to say that Sony had found problems with the game that needed fixing before release.
How extensive these problems are is unclear, but the game does need to go through the certification process again.
As a result it is likely that the Minecraft on PlayStation 4 is going to miss its August release window.
The PlayStation 4 version was handed over to Sony for certification on Tuesday August 12th. Shortly after the studio said that it was bug fixing the Xbox One and Vita versions.
Sony found some issues we have to fix in their final test of #MinecraftPS4 🙁
