MLB pitcher Trevor May becomes a streamer and brand ambassador for Luminosity

North American organisation Luminosity has brought in Trevor May, a pitcher for the Minnesota Twins baseball team, as a brand ambassador. 

According to a statement given to Dot eSports the two parties are currently in talks over May acquiring a financial stake in the organisation, but to get the ball rolling he is the official brand ambassador for the team. 

What this means isn’t entirely clear, but May has been streaming on Twitch almost daily for the past month or so, and now his stream will feature Luminosity branding. On stream May has been playing a lot of Overwatch, and from the short ammount that we watched he isn’t bad. 

"There is so much we can learn from the world of traditional sports," said Luminosity owner Steve Maida. "and I hope that Trevor can pass on some of his experience to our players and management."
