Activision has announced all the downloadable content Modern Warfare 3 players will be able to access from now until September.
The publisher already confirmed at least 20 pieces of MW3 Season DLC will arrive over the nine-month period. These extras – which include new maps, modes and missions – are available to those who subscribe to the Call of Duty Elite service, but standard players will also be able to purchase them from March.
Activision revealed the following Season DLC schedule on the Call of Duty website, which it says is subject to change:
•January – two maps (these are now live)
•February – map
•March – map and two missions
•April – two maps
•May – map and mission
•June – map, mission and mode
•July – two maps
•August – map, mission and mode
•September – map and mission
The Liberation and Piazza multiplayer maps went live yesterday on Xbox Live. Activision says the DLC will be available on other platforms ‘at a later time’.
