Mobile Monday London will be well-known to most readers of our sister site Mobile Entertainment. It’s the volunteer-run networking organisation that runs sell-out conference events and email discussion groups.
Now, it’s expanding into practical coaching.
It’s teamed up with University College London (UCL Advances) to launch The Mobile Academy. The aim is to give practical tuition on technical, marketing and commercial issues to any mobile developer or entrepreneur.
Participants can select from talks, workshops and clinics, all delivered by industry professionals from successful start-ups to big organisations such as Nokia, Samsung, Opera, Droidcon and the Mobile Marketing Association.
A Certificate of Continued Professional Development will be awarded to those who complete the course with a minimum 80 per cent attendance.
The Mobile Academy starts next week, on September 18th, with sessions held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6.30pm to 9pm at UCL locations near Euston.
It finishes on November 22nd.
The cost is £300 plus a £17 booking fee.
