Danish studio hires six new employees in pursuit of strategic growth

More IO Interactive employees join Reto-Moto

Copenhagen developer Reto-Moto has bolstered its headcount, employing six former employees of fellow Danish studio IO Interactive.

Reto-Moto’s CEO Neil Donnell said: "Here at Reto-Moto we are all very pleased to have Jens, Peter, Jesper, Henning, Hakon and Andreas on board. Growing our team through the acquisition of talented, experienced professionals with a flawless hit rate of success aligns with our business plan for strategic growth. A proven working relationship from prior collaboration on multiple Hitman titles only accelerates the integration process, and assures the team’s creative and commercial success."

Reto-Moto was originally established in 1997, and created the IO Interactive studio in a joint-venture operation with Nordisk Film, which went on to develop the Hitman games and Kane and Lynch. Eidos acquired IO Interactive in 2004 in a $20 million deal.

In April 2008 it was confirmed that Reto-Moto had reformed after the founders of IO Interactive left their positions at the developer. Reto-Moto was re-founded with a plan to focus on the creation of multiplayer mass-market titles.
