E3 2010: Eminem in COD: Black Ops

Activision has confirmed that a track from US hip-hop star Eminem’s new album Recovery will feature in this year’s Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Slim Shady joins a star-studded roster of talent set to appear in a number of its upcoming titles.

Recently revealed DJ Hero 2 welcomes R&B face Usher as well as Grammy Award winning producer David Guetta and house star Deadmau5.

Meanwhile, Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock will see Soundgarden’s unreleased track ‘Black Rain’ feature on its playlist. Also on board for the title is Jane’s Addiction, A Perfect Circle, Black Sabbath and Megadeth.

And back on the R&B front, producer Pharrell Williams is to headline the soundtrack for True Crime: Hong Kong, which will also feature Rhea and N.E.R.D.

Activision’s fall titles are set to give gamers an unparalleled musical experience,” Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick stated.
