Having previously confirmed that it will launch a cut-price ‘Arcade’ version of its redesigned Xbox 360 S for $199 this autumn, online retailer Amazon has gone live with the first details concerning the machine.
Specifically, it reckons that the console will include just 4GB of storage – presumably either internally or via a bundled branded USB memory stick.
It carries a supposed RRP of €149.99. It also dates the machine for August 20th – right in the middle of Gamescom.
If these prices are accurate all signs point to a 159.99 RRP in the UK, directly replacing the current Arcade SKU.
The current Xbox 360 S, which includes a 250GB hard drive, retails for $199 in the US and will cost 199 when it arrives in the UK this Friday (July 16th).
