AC Brotherhood price roundup

The latest release in the Assassin’s Creed saga – which is doing brilliantly with critics – has sparked off yet another price war on the UK High Street.

The headline price comes from HMV, which is selling the game for just 2.99 when customers trade-in a copy of last week’s release Call of Duty: Black Ops.

The retailer has done similar deals before, most notably with Black Ops itself and next week’s Gran Turismo 5, though this offer is its cheapest trade-in special yet.

Sainsbury’s is offering the lowest no-strings attached deal – 29.99. Interestingly, it’s the first time this quarter that the supermarket has ditched the additional requirement of a minimum spend in-store to get the deal.

Asda is once again offering a price of 4.97 when punters trade in either Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, Fable III or Fallout: New Vegas. Standalone the game will retail for 36.97.

Blockbuster is selling Brotherhood for 99p when two of either Black Ops, Fable III, Force Unelashed II, New Vegas, MMA or F1 2010 are traded in.

Tesco has opted for a 26 price when customers buy a 20 PSN or Xbox Live points card. Morrisons has gone for 32.99 and GameStation is offering an additional 5 off when customers trade-in any two games.
