Battlefield 4 trailer airing at MCV Awards

EA will air itslatest trailer for Battlefield 4 at tonight’s MCV Awards.

The new Battlefield is due out later this year and promises to continue the success of 2011’s top-selling Battlefield 3.

The 60 seconds trailer, also used for the game’s TV spot, features content from the 17-minute gameplay reveal premiered last month.

Footage is shot entirely in-game and is the first glimpse of the dramatic single player campaign in Battlefield 4.

Developer DICE is also incorporating the elements of multiplayer games into the single player experience, such as huge environments, vehicles, and the ability to direct squad mates.

Battlefield 4 is built on DICE’s proprietary Frostbite 3 engine, and the game is one of EA’s flagship titles for2013 and beyond.

More information on the game can be found at the Battlefield 4 website.

You can see the original 17 minute reveal of the game now on the site.

This year’s MCV Awards ceremony takes place tonight at the Lancaster London Hotel. The 2013 gathering marks the 11th year of the event. A diverse mix of companies from across the games industry are nominated for the UK trade’s most coveted awards.
