Blizzard files trademark for "Cute But Deadly"

Blizzard has filed a US trademark for something labeled ‘cute but deadly’ for use across a range of goods and services.

GameSpot reports on the listing, pointing out that upon further review it doesn’t appear to be related to a new Blizzard IP. In fact, the filing doesn’t mention video games anywhere.

Instead, the application covers a host of different merchandise items, such as: action figures, t-shirts, socks, papercraft, and milk bottle caps – among other goods and services.

Blizzard has thus far declined to comment on the trademark and how it plans to use it. The company is currently working on Diablo III’s current-gen console ports for an early September launch.
