Call of Duty claims sixth successive UK No.1, GTA V shoots up to second place

With a lack of new releases hitting shelves, Call of Duty once again retains the top spot in the UK All Formats chart.

Activision’s shooter manages with a mere 24 per cent drop in sales week-on-week. This is the sixth time in a row that Black Ops III has been at the No.1, the longest time in pole position since FIFA 15 in 2014. That game also managed six weeks on top.

2016’s edition of EA’s football title slips to third place as sales dip 45 per cent, while Grand Theft Auto V shoots two places up to No.2 with a mere 16 per cent sales dip week-on-week. This is the highest rank Rockstar’s title has reached since Week 34 2015.

Battlefront falls one place to No.4 with a 45 per cent sales decline, ahead of Rainbow Six: Siege which rises up one position to fifth place.

In sixth place is Square Enix’s Just Cause 3, which rose two positions over the course of the week. Meanwhile, WWE 2K16 sales drop 30 per cent but remains sold at No.7.
