Driveclub PS Plus Edition will vanish from PSN next week

Having waited eight months to get their hands on the long-delayed game, the free PlayStation Plus version of Driveclub will disappear from PSN on October 6th.

Remember, PS+ Instant Game Collection titles remain accessible to PS+ subscribers for the duration of their subscription, so anyone who grans it before then will be able to access to the title indefinitely.

The PS+ Edition of the title had been due to launch alongside the main game last October. However, it was delayed indefinitely following the horrific launch problems experienced by Evolution’s racer. It was eventually, after much uncertainty and questions about its future, released in June.

The SKU itself offers a cut-back selection of the full game’s content, including 13 tracks and 15 cars. It is presumed that the discounted upgrade to the full game will remain available beyond October 6th, although this has not been specified.
