EA uses Vine for Battlefield 4 promo

Twitter’s bite-sized video service Vine has become the latest marketing tool available to publishers and game makers.

EA has taken to the service to promote the upcoming Battlefield 4 which, as we learn from the short, will be debuted in some form on March 27th.

Given Vine’s nature (clips are limited to six seconds) there’s little in the way of detail, but with over 700 retweets at the time of writing the publisher is clearly getting the brand out there and should have a decent level of hype ahead of the game’s reveal next week.

The big question Battlefield 4 fans are currently asking is whether or not the game will be a next-gen launch title? And if it is, does that potentially have any negative consequence for a current-gen release?
