Forza Horizon 2 confirmed for Xbox One and 360 this autumn

Microsoft has confirmed the rumours that Forza Horizon 2 is in development.

Perhaps more of a surprise is that it will be released on both Xbox One AND 360 this autumn, IGN reports.

It’s being developed by Playground Games, which headed development of 2012’s original Forza Horizon, although it is collaborating closely” with ‘full’ Forza studio Turn 10.

The game will debut a weather system and include a tailored version of Forza 5’s Drivatar system. Another surprise comes in the fact that it abandons the first game’s American setting and uproots to Southern Europe.

Expect more details at E3 next week.
