GAME ups PC download offer

Having recently partnered with Steam to boost its digital PC offer, GAME has launched another non-boxed venture.

From this week gamers will be able to purchase digital download codes in-store. Furthermore, they will also be able to pre-order digital PC games, with a download code being sent to them on the day of release.

The real selling point for GAME here is the ability for customers to trade-in old boxed titles against their digital purchases.

The new offering goes life with a discount on Sega’s Total War Master Collection, which has been slashed 50 per cent to 37.40. The SKU includes

Rome: Total War, Medieval II: Total War, Empire Total War, Napoleon: Total War, Total War: Shogun 2, Total War: Shogun 2: Fall of the Samurai, Total War Battles: Shogun and Viking: Battle for Asgard.

The downloads are redeemed via GAME’s website.
