LEGO Batman: The Movie is real – see the trailer here

First there was LEGO. Then there was Batman. Then there was LEGO Batman. And now there’s this.

The popular combination of Denmark’s leading export and DC’s darkest superhero is taking the next logical step in its evolution by crossing from the console to the cinema.

In conjunction with TTGames, LEGO Batman: The Movie – DC Super Heroes United was revealed yesterday at the New York Comic-Con. As with recent console release LEGO Batman 2, DC’s entire Justice League squad looks like it will be turning out in force for this child-centric CGI escapade.

Characters confirmed in the trailer – which can be seen below – include Batman, Robin, Superman, The Flash and Wonder Woman as well as villains Lex Luthor, The Joker, Penguin, Two-Face, Riddler and Harley Quinn.

It also looks like it will also develop the hilarious relationship between Batman, Robin and Superman, which was one of the real highlights of LEGO Batman 2.
