MCV AWARDS 2014: Ubisoft takes Games Publisher prize

Ubisoft took home the award for Games Publisher of the Year at last night’s MCV Awards.

2013 was a big year for the publisher – Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag reached 7.5m sales on current and next-gen platforms while Just Dance 2014 overtook Wii Fit as the second biggest title on the Wii.

At the 2013 MCV Awards, Ubisoft took away five prizes including Digital Distribution Team and Marketing Team.

Ubisoft was one of 15 winners at the MCV Awards last night.

Now entering its eleventh year, the MCV Awards recognise the UK video games industry’s finest and celebrate achievements across all its sectors, from retail, publishing and development, to distribution, media and service providers.
