MCV Awards 2016 Finalist Profile: Trade Marketing Team

As we countdown to the MCV Awards 2016, which takes place in London on March 3rd, we profile each of the finalists for the Trade Marketing Team category

Activision Blizzard

The Trade team have worked on a number of high profile launches, including Skylanders Superchargers, Guitar Hero Live, Transformers, Destiny Taken King, Call of Duty Black Ops III as well as Blizzard’s Starcraft LOTV, Heroes of the Storm and Overwatch.

Electronic Arts

The team has taken a holistic approach to product launches, with strong collaboration with 1st parties and licensees to deliver a cohesive and impactful omni-channel messaging to the end-users.

Koch Media

The internal team of two handle all trade activity for Deep Silver, SEGA, Square Enix and Focus Home Interactive, with titles including Farming Simulator 15, Football Manager 16 and Just Cause 3.

Nintendo UK

In 2015 the Nintendo trade marketing team focussed on responding to market needs, business needs and shopper needs, thorough a multi-channel approach.

PlayStation UK

The team focussed on replicating key brand and software messages at retail, implementing principal initiatives across trade social, digital, print and store channels, working closely with PlayStation’s Sales and Product Marketing teams.

Ubisoft

The in-house trade marketing team focussed on point of sale, staff and consumer engagement, and retail space acquisition in support of key titles Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and Rainbow 6 Siege.

Xbox

The team put particular emphasis on refining online execution, while ensuring they didn’t neglect the traditional in-store POS elements for the likes of Halo 5, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Forza 6 and the Xbox One Elite Controller.

The MCV Awards 2016 takes place on March 3rd at the brand new Hilton Bankside Hotel in London,hosted by BBC funnyman Miles Jupp.
