A new iteration of Metal Gear Online will be debuted at next week’s The Game Awards in Las Vegas.
The game will be shown off by Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima, according to the event’s producer Geoff Keighley on Twitter. Metal Gear Solid 5 was also unveiled at one of Keighley’s events – the Spike VGAs in 2012.
Metal Gear Online first featured in PS2 title MGS3: Subsistence and then again as part of PS3 outing MGS4: Guns of the Patriots. It is therefore safe to presume that the next iteration will appear in next year’s multiplatform release MGS5: The Phantom Pain.
The Game Show takes place on December 5th and will be streamed across all major console and online networks.
