New Best Buy opens its doors

Retailer Best Buy has opened the doors to its 11th UK outlet.

Based in Enfield, North London, the now store saw punters queuing as early as 21:00 the night before to ensure they had first dabs on the bargains when the store finally opened at 09:00 this morning.

One year-old Leo Turner was the lucky chap who got to cut the opening ribbon and accept a 3,000 Best Buy voucher for local charity Friends of Cheviots.

And lucky customer, Stephanie Pinnock, won a 500 spot prize.

The Bank Holiday weekend got off to a busy start on Enfield Retail Park with the launch of new technology superstore Best Buy, the largest retailer to open in the area in recent years,” a statement reads.

Despite recent rioting and wet weather, it was business as usual as shoppers turned out in their hundreds from the local community for the Grand Opening weekend celebrations.”

The retailer will be offering a number of special offers throughout the Bank Holiday weekend.
