New line of Skylanders premium toys to launch this Autumn

Activison has announced that a new range of premium Skylanders toys will be coming to the UK later this year.

The limited edition Eon’s Elite set will introduce eight new versions of existing Skylanders characters, with Spyro and Chop Chop the first two ‘fan-favourite’ figures to see a re-release.

The Eon’s Elite roster will be comprised from Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure, and will feature a new metallic finish and golden base.

Each of the special edition toys will also be offered in foil packaging and a display case with a 3D lenticular background.

It’s not just fancy new looks, either – when used in-game, Eon’s Elite characters will be up to three times more powerful than other characters, the biggest in-game boosts provided to a new line of Skylanders toys to date.

Eon’s Elite represents the most iconic characters from the original Skylanders game that started it all,” said Josh Taub, senior vice president of product marketing at Activision. These eight toys are not only premium quality but also honour the characters’ strength, courage and commitment. We’re excited to extend our fans’ collections with this new line.”

Eon’s Elite characters will be available in the UK this Autumn, from Amazon.
