New VR studio set up by former Evolution devs

Several members of Driveclub and Motorstorm developer Evolution Studios have departed in order to set up their own venture.

The new company Secret Sorcery is based in St Helens in the North West of England, and will be focused entirely on virtual reality games, according toGamesIndustry.

The team is led by managing director Scott Kirkland, who was a co-founder and studio technical director of Evolution. He left Evolution back in March along with other members of the studio, following a round of layoffs.

Also joining him is creative director Alan McDermott, Ian Moran, and Craig Beeston.
