Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare PC release set for June

PopCap’s multiplayer-focused shooter Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare will arrive on PC this June, publisher EA has announced.

The Windows version will launch on June 24th, and will be distrusted through Origin as well as other retailers.” It’ll pack the Garden Variety and Zomboss Down DLC already available for the console release.

EA-owned Origin has also opened up pre-orders for a $34.99 Digital Deluxe edition, that comes with character customization options, a pair of booster packs, and in-game coins. The standard edition is also available to pre-order for $29.99.

PvZ: Garden Warfare launched in Feburary for both Xbox One and Xbox 360 platforms. The news follows word from EA that microtransactions will be introduced into the currently released editions later this week.
