PlayStation VR game boxes say what accessories are needed to play them

Game boxes for upcoming physical PlayStation VR releases are to feature clear branding alerting consumers about what is needed to play them.

That’s if box art that has appeared on a number of retailer websites (pictured) is to be believed. Titles that are dependant on PlayStation VR feature ‘PlayStation VR required’ branding at the top of the cover; those that use it say ‘PlayStation VR Compatiable’.

Furthermore, titles which need additional peripherals such as the Move Controllers and Camera, come with branding at the bottom of the box indicating what is required.

PlayStation VR is launching in the UK, America and some European territories on October 13th. A 349 price point was revealed by Sony in March of this year.

Sony Interactive Entertainment boss Andrew House has said that there may be shortages of PlayStation VR when it launches later this year.
