Report: Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD to carry brand new ending

The upcoming HD re-release compilation of Final Fantasy X/X-2 will reportedly pack a totally new ending cut scene, complete with newly-recorded voice acting and scribed by the games’ scenario writer Kazushige Nojima.

Siliconera reports on Japanese publication Shounen Jump’sreveal of the new 30-minute ending. One that will take place at what everyone has been left to presume will be the conclusion of FFX-2 – though it wasn’t explicitly stated beyond that it will be shown over the credits.

Square Enix has thus far declined the opportunity to confirm the report.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD is set to release this fall on PS3 and Vita. While the games will be sold together on Sony’s current console, the handheld versions will have to be purchased seperately.
