Capcom has released a new update for the PC version of Resident Evil 6, adding Left 4 Dead 2 content to the title.
Steam’s news feed announces that owners of the game can download the update for free through the Steam client.
The content patch adds the four Left 4 Dead 2 survivors – Coach, Ellis, Rochelle, and Nick – to the PC-exclusive mode, The Mercenaries Unlimited No Mercy. Along with living characters, the crossover update also adds some of the Special Infected from the L4D series to chase you down.
The publisher announced the content in partnership with Valve last month. Three unspecified RE6 enemies are also due out later as part of a Left 4 Dead 2 update via the Steam Workshop later this spring.
