Retailers cut PlayStation TV price in the US

A number of big retailers have cut $20 off the price of the PlayStation TV in the US.

VG247 reports that Amazon, GameSpot and Best Buy have all cut the $100 entry-level SKU to $80 while the $140 value bundle has been reduced to $100. It doesn’t appear to be an official price drop, although who knows what deals are being offered by official distributors.

In the UK PlayStation TV still retails for the 84.99 it launched at on November 14th.

The device, which was rebranded after initially being unveiled as the PlayStation Vita TV, is still lacking many features in the West compared to the services Sony has tied up in Japan.
