Rise of the Tomb Raider coming to PS4 in Q4 2016

Microsoft has one full year’s exclusivity on the upcoming Rise of the Tomb Raider.

The official Tomb Raider blog has revealed that the title would be coming to PlayStation 4 in ‘holiday 2016′. That’s Q4 2016 for us Brits.

That’s also one year after the title’s release on Xbox consoles this coming November.

In addition, the title will be coming to Steam and Windows 10 PC in ‘early 2016′.

At last year’s Gamescom, Microsoft announced that the game would be exclusive to Xbox platforms for a period. Later in the year, it was revealed that Microsoft was indeed publishing the title on its consoles.

Microsoft is regarding Rise of the Tomb Raider as its answer to Uncharted 4.

Meanwhile, the initial 2013 Tomb Raider has sold 8.5m units since its launch and is the most successful Lara Croft game to date.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is set for launch on Xbox One and Xbox 360 on November 15th 2015.
