South Park: The Stick of Truth delayed once more

Obsidian’s upcoming South Park RPG The Stick of Truth will no longer arrive before the end of the year.

Publisher Ubisoft has announced the oft-delayed game is being pushed back yet again – this time to March 4th, 2014.

The title had previously been dated for December 10thafter missing multiple launch windows. It was originally scheduled to release during the second half of 2012.

Ubisoft North America president Laurent Detoc explained the latest delay is necessary to deliver the experience fans are expecting.

"Within three weeks after acquiring the game, we sadly realized we had to turn this thing upside down if we hoped to deliver the experience everybody wanted," Detoc wrote.

"It’s been such a major overhaul to get to the point where we are that we couldn’t let it go, even if that meant missing December."

Whenever it finally does arrive, South Park: The Stick of Truth will be available on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
