Suarez bite ban applies to FIFA 15 as well

There are numerous exemptions to Luis Suarez’s four-month ban, but FIFA 15 doesn’t appear to be amongst them.

The former Liverpool striker was banned from all football-related activity” for four months after seemingly biting Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup over the summer, although of course this didn’t stop him being sold to Barcelona for 65m.

And following an appeal in August, he was then granted permission to train with the Spanish team and even play in friendlies.

These additional leniencies, however, were not enough to see him star as a fully-fledged feature in FIFA 15.

Eurogamer reports that Suarez isn’t available in the game’s transfer market and anyone taking charge of Barcelona in Career Mode is told by the chief executive that the player is suspended and unable to play until October 26th.

He is available in Kick-Off mode, although he is placed in the reserves when match Day Experience is turned on.

He did star, however, in Konami’s recent PES 2015 demo.
