Take-Two: Lohan filed GTAV lawsuit ‘for publicity purposes’

Celebrity Lindsay Lohan has been accused of using a lawsuit to get attention.

In July it was revealed that the Herbie: Fully Loaded, Mean Girls and Ugly Betty Star is alleging that Grand Theft Auto V character Lacey Jonas was unofficially based on her.

Lohan claimed the character is an "unequivocal" reference to her, depicting her image, style and voice.

Now AP reports that Take-Two has in court papers said that the case is frivolous”, that it was "filed for publicity purposes" and that the character resembles her only in being young and blonde – and crucially does not use her name of likeness.

The company is calling for the case to be dismissed and for Lohan to pay any associated fees.
