Telltale has teased a bit of new info regarding its upcoming adventure game take on the Game of Thrones franchise.
The studio released a new still (in full below) during the ninth annual New York Comic Con event earlier this week, which references a quote from A Song of Ice and Fire author George R.R. Martin mentioning Ironwood trees – found commonly north of The Wall in series canon.
It’s the second teaser image Telltale’s released this year, the first with a Martin quote hinting at the upcoming game’s inclusion of House Forrester.
Forrester is a minor clan noted in the books that has yet to be introduced in the HBO television series, so perhaps a good group for the developer to break new ground with.
Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series is due out later this year for PS3, Xbox 360, Windows PC and Mac.
