Top 100 Women in Games: Kat Osman

Turning away from her degree in geological engineering not long after graduation, Osman started at Herald Communications/Fleishman Hillard as a temp, before being offered a full time position on the consumer tech team.

Accounts included Fox Pathe, the ER Show, The Gala Group and Eidos Interactive – the latter being Osman’s favourite account.

Among Osman’s many achievements, she highlights a feature on BBC One’s Six O’Clock News for the launch of World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade, being part of the team that secured 99 specialist front covers for Fallout 3 across Europe, getting Jonathan Ross into our Saints Row IV lowrider and rapping with Tinie Tempah, Tinchy Stryder and Red and Meth for Def Jam Rapstar as among her favourite moments.

Osman formed Lick PR with fellow ex-Lunch PR members Lucy Starvis, Ian Dickson and Colette Barr last year – something she remains very proud of, and has many plans for in the near future.
