Top 100 Women in Games: Lidia Rumley

When I first set foot in the games industry back in the mid-1990s, I had no idea what an amazing path I was going to travel,” says Rumley.

Since then, Rumley has worked with some of the biggest names in games, including EA, UbisoftandEidos – and some of the most iconic franchises in entertainment, from Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry and Burnout to Harry Potter, James Bond, FIFA and Tiger Woods.

She left the publishing world behind in 2013 to set up Light Switch PR in 2013, aiming to focus on maximise PR budgets, which had tightened as the industry changed.

The past 18 months have taken me on a very differentjourneybut one that’s every bit as exciting as those 18 years I spent working for the industry’s best publishers,” Rumley says.
