VIDEO: EA shows off new live-action Star Wars Battlefront trailer

EA has unveiled the latest tease for Star Wars Battlefront, which takes the idea of disappearing into the game quite literally.

The publisher previously teamed up with PlayStation to do a live-action advert featuring the iconic X-Wing ship and bin-shaped robot R2-D2.

This time, it’s Pitch Perfect, Into The Woods and Twilight actress Anna Kendrick that takes a nostalgic trip, reciting Obi-Wan Kenobi’s iconic lines from A New Hope to a bread knife.

Kendrick’s conversation with cutlery joins hoovering, high-fiving and riding the train as activities posing the potential risk of vanishing (before subsequently reappearing inside Battlefront’s virtual world).
