Watch Dogs debuts at No.2 in Japan; Wii U maintains PS4 lead

Ubisoft has secured a very respectable No.2 in the Japanese charts with the PS4 version of Watch Dogs.

The PS3 SKU charted at No.5, according to the weekly Japanese Famitsu data.

In the hardware charts Wii U sales are narrowly back on the up and still tracking ahead of PS4. Mario Kart 8 continues to slide down the charts, however, falling from second to eighth place.

It’s Vita, however, that wins out this week, overtaking 3DS at the top of the charts thanks to new releases Freedom Wars and Girls und Panzer, which debut at No.1 and No.6 respectively.
