WWE series to make PC return

2K Games has revealed that WWE 2K15 is to be released on PC.

It’s the first time that a ‘proper’ entry in the wrestling series has graced the platform since 2002’s WWE Raw, which was published by THQ. WWE 2K15 was released on consoles last year.

2K has apparently taken steps to ensure that the PC title properly reflects the existing release, confirming that it will include MyCareer and 2K Showcase modes. There will also be some additional day one content in the form of Hulk Hogan and Sting.

A selection of DLC for the game will apparently follow after release – all of which will be free.

"I grew up playing games on my PC," cover star John Cena said. "Texas Instruments, Commodore 64… I was a huge PC gamer growing up, so this is big.

Not only for our fans, but for me personally as well. Fans may not know this, but I was such a huge PC gamer that I bought a living room entertainment system just to play PC games back in the day. So don’t be surprised if you flash forward 50 years and yours truly is sitting in his living room playing computer games."

The game will apparently be out in the spring, with WWE saying that it is only weeks away”.
