Scribes for Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, Uncharted: Golden Abyss and 007 Legends round off the nominees list

Halo 4 and ACIII writers nominated in WGA Awards

The Writers Guild of America has revealed the nominees for the 2013 outstanding achievement in video game writing award.

Games nominated for the prize are Assassin’s Creed III, Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation, Halo 4, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two and 007 Legends.

The WGA video game writing awards are now in their sixth year, and honours the best scriptwriters in the US game industry for their efforts in storytelling.

To be eligible for nomination, writers are required to have applied to be member of the WGA video game writers caucus at the time the script was submitted, and the game must have been released between December 1st 2011 and November 30th 2012 to qualify.

The 2013 Writers Guild of America Awards will take place on February 17th at simultaneous ceremonies situated in Los Angeles and New York.
