Mirror’s Edge 2 appears on EA website

A sequel to Mirror’s Edge looks set to debut at E3 this year.

Rumours about a sequel to the DICE first person adventure has long been touted. It was a great game and garnered a cult following, but it didn’t sell particularly well back in 2008.

It’s cropped up on iOS and Android since then, and EA has regularly mentioned intentions to give the game another chance.

And now the game has its own Mirror’s Edge 2 page on the EA website. Outside of a title, there’s nothing actually on the page. But it adds to the growing chatter that the game will appear during EA’s E3 press conference.

Amazon Germany listed the game on its website by mistake earlier this week, although it was only listed for Xbox One. Could it be an Xbox One exclusive? It’s possible, although going exclusive with expensive next gen games would require significant financial support from the platform holder.

It has also appared on Amazon Italy.
