Next week’s London Games Conference: Final schedule adds Facebook, Google and Yogscast

Three online giants have been added to the London Games Conference schedule.

Next week’s central London day-long conference on games marketing has added Facebook, Google and Yogscast to an already-impressive line-up that includes Buzzfeed, IGN, Curse, Gamer Network, PlayStation, Parker Consulting, Respondez and Green Man Gaming.

London Games Conference takes place at One Wimpole Street, near Oxford Circus and Bond Street tube stations.

The event starts at 10am (registration 9am) with plenty of networking opportunities along with talks from 11 experts who can talk you through building better reach and engagement in your marketing campaigns.

10:00am – 10:30am: BuzzFeed Presents: More Than Just Good – Creating Shareable Content
Philip Byrne, Creative Director at BuzzFeed UK, will talk on the history of the business and their unique approach to content. Buzzfeed has been a leader in native advertising and commercial content. Using real life examples from the games market he will share insights into engagement and reach.

10:30am – 11am: IGN: A Games Media Publisher’s Perspective
Geoff Inns, International Managing Director at Ziff Davis, Inc., talks about the issues in games media that affect both media and games publishers.

11:30am-12.00pm:EGX 2014 Feedback: See how games and gamers connected at the UK’s biggest gaming event
Rupert Loman, Founder and CEO of Gamer Network will share the experience learnt from building EGX into Europe’s premier live gaming event. Loman will share detailed data about the benefits of live engagement with gamers.
