Ninjas in Pyjamas return to Dota 2 by picking up ex-Escape

Ninjas in Pyjamas has announced its return to Dota 2 by signing the core of the former Escape Gaming roster.

Escape lost their team after Khezu and Yapz0r left the team and the rest of the members searched for a new opportunity. That new opportunity came in the form on NiP, with Troels ‘syndereN’ Nielsen, Kai ‘H4nn1’ Handbückers, Kalle ‘Trixi’ Saarinen, Max ‘qojqva’ Bröcker and Adrian ‘ Era’ Kryeziu joining the organisation.

The team will now play under the NiP banner as they try to qualify for the upcoming Kiev Major and of course The International 7 later in the year. Under the Escape banner syndereN, Era and qojqva all made it to TI6, but just missed out on making it to the Boston Major.

“I am thrilled to join Ninjas in Pyjamas,” said syndereN. “It is one of the most renowned organizations with a rich history. Playing with such a name is a great opportunity, but also a responsibility; it comes with high expectations and therefore I’m happy to have formed a team of such experienced and proven players with great synergy to deliver. Together with NiP, we plan to become a top contender for the year. We’ve already progressed a lot in our early practice and I only see us improving as the year progresses.“
