Nintendo Europe cuts 190 temporary QA staff

Nintendo of Europe has confirmed that 190 temporary employees are leaving the firm.

It is part of a previously announced downsizing, which has already resulted in the loss of 130 permanent employees.

The 190 temporary staff worked in the firm’s German QA department, although staff have informed Kotaku that many of them had been working there for several years.

Nintendo is moving its QA to a primarily outsource model.
