Miitomo isn’t strictly a game. Utilising Nintendo’s Mii characters, Miitomo acts as a sort-of-social network, where users answer questions such as: Do you believe in aliens?” and If you saw a nose hair sticking out of your friend’s nose, what would you do?” And that way his or her friends can find out ‘surprising’ secrets about each other.

Nintendo’s new reward programme is called My Nintendo. A special Miitomo bonus will be offered to anyone in the UK that creates a Nintendo Account between February 17th and Miitomo’s launch in March. My Nintendo ‘aims to become much more than a traditional rewards program’ and ‘rewards users for interacting with Nintendo products and services in a variety of ways’.
Miitomo will launch on iOS and Android.
