Nintendo has named Tatsumi Kimishima as its new president and successor to the late Satoru Iwata.
Kimishima, was named MD in April 2013, and put in control of corporate analysis, administration and general affairs. He previously worked as CEO of Nintendo of America, before that role was assumed by Iwata, on top of his other duties.
Kimishima joined Nintendo of America in 2002, having previously worked as representative director of The Pokemon Company for just over a year.
Elsewhere, Shigeru Miyamoto and Genyo Takeda have been given new job titles, creative fellow and technology fellow. Ex-software planning and development GM Shinya Takahashi has been named entertainment planning and development GM, as well as supervisor of business development, development administration and support.
