Nintendo’s digital sales stand at £75.6m for current financial year

Digital sales across Nintendo platforms currently stand at 11.1bn for the current financial year.

That equates to 75.6m in real money. The figure puts Nintendo on track to beat the record digital revenues it posted in 2010, when Wii was riding high as the DSi was fresh on the market.

Current growth in digital download sales is primarily being driven by 3DS and not on Wii U – a fact that’s perhaps not that surprising considering the current sparse eShop offering for the console.
